Delivery Conditions
If your order cannot be delivered on the expected date, we will notify you as soon as possible. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any losses, costs, or damages you may incur as a result of a delayed delivery.
Once your order has been dispatched, a signature may be required upon receipt. By signing, you confirm that you have inspected the goods for any visible faults, defects, or damages.
Please retain your invoice as proof of purchase and for any future queries with us.
Delivery may not be possible to certain areas. If this applies, we will contact you using the details provided to arrange an alternative address or to cancel the order with a refund.
All orders are dispatched in our standard packaging. Should you require special packaging, additional charges will apply.
1. Delivery & Risk
All risk in the products passes to you once your order has been delivered.
If delivery is delayed because of a breach of our duties (for example, we failed to deliver on time), the risk will pass to you from the date the delivery should have taken place.
Once risk has passed, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the products.
Please handle all items with care when opening, especially if using sharp instruments.
2. Receiving Your Delivery
Deliveries take place between 3–5 business days after dispatch.
Please ensure that someone is available to accept the delivery at any reasonable time.
If you are unavailable, instructions for re-delivery or collection from the courier will be left for you.
3. Missed or Refused Deliveries
If delivery or collection is unreasonably refused, delayed, or not accepted by you:
We may charge you for reasonable delivery, return, and storage costs.
In certain cases, we may cancel your order and refund you, less any reasonable costs incurred (such as failed delivery, return shipping, or storage fees).
4. Free Delivery Offer
Free delivery applies to orders above R1,000 (one thousand rand).
We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel the free delivery offer if we become aware of any abuse of this offer.
Delivery to certain areas may carry a fixed courier charge of R150.00.
Ilyas International Traders have full discretion to define Main Centres and Outlying Areas, and this list may change from time to time.
5. Refunds & Non-Refundable Fees
Cash handling fees and delivery fees are non-refundable.
If an item is defective or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement as provided under the Consumer Protection Act.
If you cancel an order after dispatch, we may deduct reasonable admin, delivery, or storage costs from your refund.
6. Product Suitability & Guarantees
We make every effort to describe our products accurately.
It remains your responsibility to ensure that the products are suitable for your intended use.
Unless otherwise stated, products are provided on an “as is” basis.
Any guarantees or warranties will be clearly communicated with the product, and your rights under South African law remain unaffected.
7. Website Use
Our website is provided on an “as is” basis. While we aim for it to be uninterrupted and error-free, we cannot guarantee this.
